Anything slow and painful. Without getting to gruesome (because sometimes my mind is a bit too creative for my own good) I'd say drowning, but fire is up there too.

Something that has to do with being tortured first. Like something from a nasty/gory horror movie.

Do you know that people who die while burning or drowning, actually die of suffocation. So besides the pain of the burn, or the fear of drowning is happening, they actually suffocate from lack of oxygen
