Walking down the middle of a train track with a train coming behind me and not getting out of its way until the last possible moment when it got so close that I actually felt it go past me (don't ask).
Crawl across a road gantry over a 4 lane motorway at 2 o'clock in the morning after a night on the town because I couldn't be bothered to walk the additional mile to get to the overpass...
9th grade. An older friend "borrowed" his boss's car and we drove to New York City on a Tuesday night. Very high by the way. Got home a 4:00 am. My parents were less than thrilled.

12th grade, the day after graduation. Myself and a friend hitch hiked from Yardley PA to Long Beach Island NJ for senior week. To this day my mother thinks her father drove us there and back.
Bicycle ride down the hill from the Nike site overlooking Silicon Valley in 1959. 10 years old and we had ridden our bikes all the way to the top of Mt Muminum where we got chased off by the MP's. I was going more than 30 mph when I went airborne off a 90 degree turn headed for the road about 100' below. As my luck would have it there were a lot of trees between me and the road below. Broke both legs and an arm and ended up in a tree about 20 feet in the air. Had I not stopped in the tree I'd have died in that last fall of 20 feet.
Took me more than a year to recover but that didn't stop me. When I could we rode right back up there against to tease the MP's. This time however I came back down very much slower.
