'Independence' by John E. Ferling. The taxes, tariffs and policies made by England against the Colonies and the actions taken against the Crown that led to the Revolutionary War, the forming of Congress and the ratification of The Declaration of Independence.
How long ago was that? The series was fun to read to find out what the world was going to happy, but now I find the ending unsatisfying. It's mystery ending felt like an easy way out of actually writing a captivating ending.
Last book I read was White Fang. I was skimming through it and read some of my favorite parts. I had only read the Great Illustrated classic version of it so it was fun reading it in more depth although Jack London's writing style is a bit simplistic.
Had to read it for school... the first three chapters are KIND of interesting, and then it just gets REALLY repetitive. Seemed like a waste of time, frankly.
It was avtually a really good book. I don't think I've ever actually read a bad book all the way through. If it doesn't catch my interest quick, it's very easy to put it down.
