Been slowly getting into Akira now after watching the movie two months ago. Berserk was last years good read for 4/5 months straight. Fullmetal Alchemist I recommend too. Wolf Guy is another good manga to get into. I randomly look into manga site lists and pull at random something good. I usually stick with the non-mainstream/hyped series.

I am only at chapter six so far and I have found it to be worth the time spent. The story has a strong female character as a lead and the plot has been unfolding at a decent enough pace with an interesting direction, that has held my interest so far. Just from what I have seen, I would say this could possibly turn out to be a favorite, if the style remains consistent through the rest of the novel.

I agree, he did very well and you could see the progression in his writing ability with each new book. I will be keeping an eye out for his future endeavours as well. He has established his self as a bonafide bestseller.

I really enjoyed the first two and then got completely bogged down in Brisinger. It was just too detailed and seemed to drag on.

It started to seem like it was rambling. But it was also right in the middle of the time I decided to leave my husband so I could have been very distracted.

I'm happy for both of us. We actually got our divorces around the same time, though it took me about two years to GET my divorce since my ex husband fought our divorce. Even after the final hearing he refused to sign the papers and my lawyer had to have the judge sign them.

I'm still actually in the process of getting mine as I am fighting for a bit of spousal support for awhile. I am hoping it will be sorted by this summer. I have to get my disability claim sorted out so I know what my income is. Right now my parents are supporting me. I can't work and the law says that after 23 years of marriage and with my ex earning three times what I am able to earn even if I do work, I am entitled to some financial support to get on my feet. He claims he cannot afford this but of course what he means is he doesn't want to give up his cushy lifestyle in order to afford this because he didn't want the divorce. He has not accepted that he has any blame in the divorce. I have had to take him to court.

I'm glad you got things sorted out and I know all about it taking two years to GET the divorce-lol. I left two years ago but I am legally still married.

I'm sorry Shawna. He sounds like a real piece of work. He and my ex must be related.
Good luck with your divorce, and on making him give you spousal support (the greedy, no good b@stard).

Fun
