What topic makes you explode?

Abortion - I am pro-choice, but not pro-abortion and people seem to have a hard time with that.

Politics - everyone is so angry. I was just called a racist because I trust that the CIA did their job when vetting the President before he was allowed to take the oath. Also, I don't think Obama has done anything impeach worthy...so that is another reason why I am apparently racist. Also, not liking Romney makes me a liberal cry-baby, and not trusting my Congress as far as I can throw them apparently indicated that I have drunk the kool-aid...but I don't even really know the reference, because I thought it was supposed to mean that I blindly approve of Obama...but I just watch the news.

Idk...two things kinda irritate me..people who want nothing but to have fun and try to tell me to "chill" or "lighten up." -.-
and then people who (no offense to anyone who think s this applies to them bc it probably doesnt) who THINK they are bisexual but aren't really. Just want sex of some sort and are too lazy to figure out which side they really are on.

I know people at my school like that, but I don't know if it's common or not. So please don't get offended (yet i know some people will still..)

Other than any attack on my family or friends, animal abuse is the only thing I ever get fired up about, otherwise I'm pretty laid back. For me personally, animal abuse breaks my heart, it is the saddest thing in the world.

I'm going to venture to say that Christians (yes I am one) get bashed more than anyone on this site. Good thing I'm firm in my beliefs. :)

I agree with you. Christian haters all over this site, most of them are still in high school.

I see my fair share of adults behaving that way. It's pathetic & rude.

I know, and the worst thing is that some of them are on my friends list. That is why I wondered if they read my profile page. They friend me and then ridicule my faith. I don't ridicule them.

Exactly! Thank you! I am not one to go bashing their beliefs, I don't. Why would I? I respect others more than that. So when I see anyone who leaves and answer such as "I don't believe in fantasy, or there's no God, etc" I just keep on going, I don't feel it's my place to then tell them how much of an idiot or naive they are, like some do me. I just pray for them, and any others who don't believe.

I'm not naive enough to believe that there aren't Christians out there who do act like maniacs about it, I see that...but in all reality we are not all like that. I believe very much in agreeing to disagree. I do have non-believers on my friends list because I love people from all walks of life but should they personally attack others then I will (and have) remove them.

Gay marriage. It's not the topic that makes me explode, it's the fundamentalist Christians that make me want to explode. I just can't talk to people about that without getting upset about it.

What really makes me upset is the fact that they say that it's wrong in the Bible. I'm an extremely strong Christian, so using that excuse to be hateful towards a group of people really makes me angry. I mean, the bible also says that divorce is wrong, and having sex before you are married is wrong too...but they aren't against that. What's most important is to love your neighbor like you love yourself, and a lot of people do not do that.

what is a fundamentalist Christian?

Someone that takes everything in the bible completely literal.

Abortion, death penalty, religion are just a few that I don't normally talk about with people, aside from SH, which is a perfect example of why I don't discuss these issues with my loved ones.
