My cat teaches me that when someone is annoying there are two options.
1. Walk away with your very best look of disgust.
2. Smack them hard with all your claws out.
My dog teaches me that there is no such thing as too much love.
It will not let me fix the typo. I hate that!

There are times in our lives when it isn't appropriate to have pets, but what they teach us and the love they give us lasts forever.reply - Jerry Shawna 2012/08/20 05:24:26

+1You're welcome. What I meant was also "unconditional love" from me. Not a parent but in my dog's case I can understand some of what my parents showed and I took for granted.reply -
+1Yes, it goes both ways. Our animals love us and we love them. And I know I love mine no matter how naughty they are.reply - Radical Ed 2012/08/18 20:43:02The pet I used to have taught me......+2there's always a way out of a situation, my dog could find a way into and out of anything.reply

+2yeah, the puppy dog eyes always wins me over and i cant get annoyed.reply - Pele Emerging 2012/08/18 20:33:03My pet teaches me.....+2The cats and dog both teach me that most problems can be solved by a) bringing the problem to the attention to the one who can help (I'm hungry! I need to go outside!), and b) other problems are lessened with sleep, cuddles, purrs and/or tail wags (don't worry--sleep on it and be happy!).
