which one should I (me personally) learns? I'd love to be able to speak thai or vietnamese, my gf ried to teach me vietnamese but to no avail. I also had someone who was trying to teach me Thai years ago but Thai is impossible! it's one of those gender languages where guys say things different than women, and you have a male pencil and a female lawnmower (for example).
What language should people in general learn? English. If you want to get anything done anywhere in the world english is your best bet.
