I adore chocolate chip cookies, those and double chocolate chip cookies. ERspecialyl when they are chewy and still warm from the oven, then you pull them apart the chocolte oozes out and your mouth just starts watering. Dammit, now I want cookies!!! XD

Truthfully though I began my carrer baking all kinds of cookies with my mother and then branched out to the more exotic types Coconut Pinwheels, Rocky Road Bars, and my favorite German Lebkuchen. But alas I'll always love chocolate chocolate chip.

I'm a big enthusiust of Chocolate Chip but with it being the holidays, there is a bakery in the old Italian part of the city (The Hill) that makes the greatest Christmas cookies in the world. I only get them this time of year, its an indulgence worth the expense.

I like the Chewy Chocolate Chip . . . If they are crunchy and that's all I have then I wrap them in a wet paper towel and zap them in the Microwave Oven for about 20-seconds or so, and that gives them that "fresh out of the oven" characteristic that makes them so award-winning. If not then I just wind up throwing them at the stray cats in my garden.
