My main problem with the "meat is murder" argument is its factual inaccuracy.
The animal is already dead, and murder is a legal definition that requires the act to be committed by a human, against a human...

Pedantry aside, I respect your view point and do not wish to question it. Just your justification :P

vegetarians don't like bacon (especially vegetarians) becuase they don't want to eat something that is really important to this world, which is ANIMALS, and they feel the animal's pain for being killed. so yea, people who hate bacon are mostly veggie people.

Actually I lived and worked in a central Asian moslem country for over 7 years and most of them ate pork and drank vodka. But during Ramadan they were as pious as possible. With that said though, I have known a number of Haisidic Jews and have never met one who knowingly ate pork in any way.
