+1i presume you mean the old one with leonard rossitter (sp??) not the fairly average remake with martin clunes. i like em both, but the old one is a lot better.reply - wolf sloan MERRYCH... 2012/06/08 13:06:53
+1I haven't seen the remake. The one with Leonard (I can't spell his name neither) was hilarious.reply - lucythetooth 2012/06/08 03:42:09Dr Who+2
reply - painted desert 2012/06/08 03:19:38Fawlty Towers+1Love Fawllty Towers. Also Are You Been Served? And definitely Monte Python. Funny!
reply - BlytheSpirit~bn0 2012/06/08 03:14:25None of the above+1Well, Fawlty Towers is certainly one of, if not THE best sit-com ever. But, I just finished watching a series called, "Waiting For God." Had me laughing out loud and I don't often do that when watching TV. Seriously wonderful!

+1It's on the list. :) Oh and I forgot "Spaced." That one was great!!!reply - wtxwoman 2012/06/08 02:07:14None of the above+1Keeping up Appearancesreply

+1It's still a riot to watch even as old as it is.reply -
ive not seen it in probably 20 years, though i did see the movie recently. i think its a bit rubbish though compared to the series.reply - Ron MERRYCH... 2012/06/08 04:01:15
+1I haven't seen the movie. BBCAmerica reran the series for a long time here, up until maybe 4 or 5 years ago but I've always remembered it. There was another series that they reran along with it but I don't remember what it was called and it wasn't as funny in my opinion.reply - james.g.mcdonald.5 2012/06/08 01:19:04None of the above+1Britain has Talentreply
- Shawna 2012/06/08 01:11:36None of the above+2It's tough to pick a favourite. I love many of them. Dangerous Davies the Last Detective, Fawlty Towers, The Royal, Heartbeat, Dr. Who, Red Dwarf, Blackadder, Jeeves and Wooster, The Vicar of Dibley, Allo Allo, Doc Martin and Downton Abbey are the first that come to mind.reply

+1what the heck is dangerous davies lol, never heard of that! i know all the others you mentioned, i particularly love red dwarf and dr who. and i like blackadder and vicar of dibley. fawlty towers is really old but such a classic, think they only made 12 episodes of that but it has some all time classic moments.reply - Shawna MERRYCH... 2012/06/08 01:22:04 (edited)
+1Stars a familiar face. It's based on a book series about a detective whom all his colleagues make fun of because he is so nice (hence not dangerous) but of course he is always the one who solves everything.

+1oh. peter davison. dr who! and sean hughes. hes a comedian. strange ive never heard of that show. maybe it was on when i used to be a drunk!reply - Shawna MERRYCH... 2012/06/08 01:39:13
+1LOL-well I quite enjoy it. Sean Hughes plays quite a character. Peter Davison's (Dangerous Davies) wife is a bit annoying but that gets better.reply -
id say i'll look out for it but im pretty sure it wont be on here, i scan the more obscure channels quite a lot to see what old shows theyve got on and ive never seen that listed.reply - Shawna MERRYCH... 2012/06/08 03:46:31
+1I watched it by renting DVDs.reply - The Elitist Libtard SodaJerk 2012/06/08 01:08:16None of the above+2http://sharetv.org/images/bei...reply

+1ohhh ok. i didnt think you'd have that over there!reply - The Eli... MERRYCH... 2012/06/08 01:19:45
+1I've got like 5 BBC channels, and one of them played a marathon and I got hooked. Now we have our own version here. It's good, not as good though.reply -
oh i see. thats pretty surprising tbh. theres only 4 bbc channels here!! well...unless you count the kids ones. i think some british shows get rebranded over there as bbc shows (when they arent) cos obviously have people have heard of bbc. i could be wrong though. is your version called the same thing?reply - The Eli... MERRYCH... 2012/06/08 01:34:07
+1Yeah it's called Being Human.
reply -
+1i dont really like remakes. cant think of any i do like. trouble is you always have the original in your head, unless youve never seen it i suppose. plus its always difficult to transfer shows to different countries.reply - The Eli... MERRYCH... 2012/06/08 23:28:55
I'm kind of like that too. The version I come across first Is usually the one I like better. Death at a Funeral was a movie in America I didn't know came from across the pond until I was in a Target and saw the Title. Bought it, brought it home watched it, Laughed my ass off, and when the American Version was on cable... I couldn't sit through it. Songs that are remade, I tend to prefer the version I heard first. And if I read the book first... It always ruins the movie.reply
