Ever hear of the Shawshank Redemption???????????????? The best move ever according to IMDB and in the top 20 in every other major film appraising source from AFI to Rotten Tomatoes? FAR BETTER THAN EVERY MOVIE LISTED!

THANK YOU!!! I wrote my comment before reading any others & said the same as you almost verbatim, in regard to being offered the "other" option & "Shawshank Redemption", one of the greatest films EVER made!! Oh, & I just remembered "Se7en" as well, one of my two favourite David Fincher/Brad Pitt films - "Fight Club" is the other DF movie, of course...cheers...

You didn't list "Driving Miss Daisy". That one is my favorite of all of his movies. He was a chauffeur for a widowed lady and they became good friends.

Another movie Morgan was in called "Nurse Betty" with Rene Zellwegger, that turned out to be a flop but he played his part well anyway.

Of those listed - "Unforgiven". But I really like "The Shawshank Redemption" and "Driving Miss Daisy" (Morgan Freeman, Jessica Tandy, and Dan Akroyd together were great).

He does well in the current Batman series, but I liked his role as Azeem in Robin Hood and thought he was outstanding in wanted.

What I really like is his narrations of a number of movies. Perfect narrator's voice.

My favorite was "Driving Miss Daisy." I really liked the way him and Jessica Tandy played off of each other. That shows skilled actors and actresses, which is what I like to see. Not airheads who star in adventure films. Jessica Tandy was the oldest actress to win an Oscar, and she deserved it. He won his later for "Million Dollar Baby," and he deserved it too. A skilled actor in those two movies, not the ones you mentioned.
