My friend picked up a couple pups on the road this week. She absolutely can't keep them (per her hubby). Amazing how hard it is to even find a place to foster a pitt bull mix.
This is Loki (one of our new kittens), and Calypso, our Golden Retriever. Calypso thinks that she's Loki's Mom!
This is me and Athena
This is Athena, Apollo & Calypso
Athena is absolutely gorgeous, so I have to show her off, lol.
This is Mars. He had never had any affection and is still skittish, but he sure loves his Momma! :-)
Another pic of Loki. He's only 5 months old a sweetie!
This is Kali, my trouble kitty who is very aggressive towards the other animals.

Sandy would love to keep all the strays she finds, but they've already got quite a menagere. There are a couple ladies at our church that do the rescue thing and I think we might have a line on a pitt bull foster program, but it's about 90 miles north.
Yes, they are all very huggable, even though all except for Calypso had been badly abused and neglected. Basically, we adopt the unadoptable. The ones no one want because they're afraid of people, large, perhaps a bit aggressive, etc. But we've had great results with all of them! A little love goes a long way to healing animals. Only Kali remains aggressive, so aggressive that I can't keep her around any of the others. She's even attacked Athena, who weighs about 120 pounds!
