Christmas or Halloween. I love being with family at Christmas but it sure is fun to dress up and be goofy with my friends on Halloween. Plus my son loves trick or treating.

After working in retail for 17 years you become jaded against holidays. For one, there mostly there for companies to sell a bunch of stuff we don't need, and second, and most important, I had to miss all the family gathering due to working on every holiday imaginable, except for maybe presidents day, and flag day.

Its the 6 weeks holiday off from school..... I can hang out with mates with no stress at all...

The Queen's birthday. It always takes me by surprise.

"What? I have next Monday off?? Don't mind if I do!"

Ever since I hit 18 Halloween has always been a bit of a drag. The only good thing about it are the horror movie marathons!

There's Halloween, where we venture into darkness and the macabre looking for a rush of adrenaline;

Christmas and the surrounding holidays, where we celebrate being with family and friends and honor peace with ornament-adorned trees, joyous carols, candles, and other time-enduring traditions;

Un-commercialized Easter, where we celebrate the on-coming of spring and rebirth;

The upcoming American Independence Day (7/4), where Americans celebrate the anniversary of their nation's conception with displays of fire in the sky and grilled food;

And holidays like Chinese New Year, where we celebrate cultures and history with lights and festivals.

I do not really care about holidays.
