There are so MANY!!! Tron, Star Wars pushed the Envelope as far as scifi, and cg tech. Then there were great movies like Rambo, Top Gun for the growing teen male. Ofcourse the horror genre of the late 70's early 80's is without a match today.. so really do not have 1 favorite.. I still wouldn't think about hanging out at a lake camp at night, or wouldn't run upstairs if I found a friend with knife sticking out of their head.. :)
E.t., the Star Wars Trilogy, Rumble Fish, The Outsiders, Legend, Dark Crystal, The Black Cauldron, The Hobbit, cartoon Lord of the Rings were 80s movies I enjoyed.
Ive actually never seen a Shirley Temple film. I might watch one of those though I am too old for it now just to see if I think its classic. Bladerunner is 80s scifi.
