The Manics' new CD is rather good. I like it better than the last one. Current one is called 'Postcards from a Young Man'. You may not be able to get it in the States at a regular record store. I've heard they're difficult to come by in the US. But I know Amazon has them.
I can't really think of one in general, but if I go on a song that really emotionally affects me it would be "One of Us" by Joan Osbourne. I do have religious beliefsm and that song sends a thrill through my spine every time I hear it, its wonderful!
