I've eaten Ostrich, and snails and just about anything unusual. But the top of my list has got to be the "Chicken Feet" I ate at the "Palms Restaurant" in South San Francisco.

Oddly enough It wasn't the smell that was the worse part, it was the texture.

I was in Japan during the Olympics and ate the local cuisine. The wierdest was beans with mold on them. I'm not kidding certain molds are considered delicacies there.

I've tried buffalo burgers, deer burgers, and on a trip to Thailand I tried fried meal worms. They were good, like a chip, but left a slight earthy aftertaste. I have eaten "1000 year old eggs" but probably not that old in Chinese porridge. The yolk is green and the egg is black, kinda weird.

Wasn't great. They were giving a class on what you could eat to survive in the desert and asked for a volunteer. It's only one quick bite and down the hatch. Not much of a taste, but it's just the thought that gives most people the "willies". That's the same class where I ate the lizard. That tasted like crap (i guess). Like I said, it was 1973.

Witchty grubs when I was in Australia. The Aborigines served it to me, and what it consists of is beetle larvae. But it was like eating a giant shrimp.

I have had haggis, and it was not gross, but crumbly. It is just gross, when you tell people what is it made of. Many times they will say "I am Scottish too." So I will say "just eat your heritage."

Fun
