    Alligators don't normally grow as big as crocodiles and their snouts are wider and are more of a U shape. A crocodiles snout is narrower and more of a V shape. Also alligators usually prefer freshwater while crocodiles tend to prefer salt.

    You can see that almost all alligators live in fresh water environments. They are more docile than than crocodiles. Alligators are not as aggressive as Crocodiles. Crocodiiles will attack humans and most Alligators will not. They will eat anything depending upon how hungry they are. I have killed both. Alligator skins are best.
