war? is that the question? what is it good for?
there has never been a time without war.
but it does keep us inventing things and making things and culling populations...sorry, but it does. most medical advances come from war treatments, and tech advances, and culture changes. we can cry all we want about war, but that never stopped one nor will war ever cease. it is human behavior.
LMAO...you'd think I'm having a flash back....to Vietnam war days...only thing today, we have people who want to kill us because we are Americans, not because they are defending their country.
Jameson Whiskey to keep me & my sisters warm walking to school during the winter in Chicago; I was 7, GrandMa from Belfast; gave us all a 1/2 shot Jameson . It kept us warm ; )
The US and UK defence industries, almost the only decent industries left. That says something about the appalling governance of these two countries over the last 40 years.
Well you say what you think and I'll tell you if you're right. It's bloody obvious. War is good for defence industries, get it. They make lots of money from it. They love wars.
Not an answer most want to consider but war is a boon to industries involved in producing hardware and software used by the military. Creates jobs for civilians while the products they create are used for killing others. Not a very good trade-off.

Absolutely nothing.
Ohhh, war, I despise
Because it means destruction
Of innocent lives
War means tears
To thousands of mothers eyes
When their sons go to fight
And lose their lives
huwh! Good God....you all.
