What is coolest thing Obama has done?

The economists were way-off. They did not predict another $6-TRILLION in Obama debt, another war, and our credit rating failure - all on Obie.

Bush did not sign and squander the $870-BILLION TARP bill, Obie did. Obie promised "shovel-ready jobs" and laughed as he told us there weren't any. Obie nationalized a car company and bailed-out the UAW pension fund with the TARP money. Obie said unemployment would never rise above 8% if TARP was approved; we broke 8% and haven't seen it since. If one counts the folks that quit looking or went on disability unemployment is really at 21%.222

The really sad part is that a lot of you liberals don't understand that Obie is breaking the economy on purpose. It's called the Cloward-Pivin strategy, a product of one of Obie's schools, Columbia University. The strategy is ti maximize the number of people on welfare and overload the welfare system, thus bankrupting the country. From there a soft-socialism state where everyone is government-dependent can be developed with total government control in jobs, food production, industry and energy. Cooperation with the UN can lead to a One World Government according to the Obie-Progressive ideal.

Obie has broken the records for unemployment, he has destroyed jobs, he is the Food Stamp and Government-Assistance President. Give him a second term and the strategy will be complete.

Bush created TARP with no oversight whatsoever. It took over a year before there were any rules as to where the money went or how it would be accounted for.

And it appears the economists were not off, since what they predicted is coming to pass pretty much to the quarter and year. Just because it doesn't agree with what you feel is right doesn't make the experts wrong.

And as for unemployment, Reagan and Hoover still top Obama. To be fair, the unemployment under Hoover, as with Obama, was precipitated by an economic crash caused by forces beyond his presidency.

The Cloward-Piven strategy... really? So Obama took courses from some professors who published a theory. Wow. Give me a stronger link to support your conspiracy theory, please... I've seen stronger evidence that Cheney personally instigated the 9/11 bombings (and I don't believe that either).

For that matter, the "fake moon landing" theory is better supported. I have to admit, that one almost convinced me for a while. But to convince others of your 'Obama is destroying America on purpose' theory, you kind of need to NOT start with the assumption that Obama is an Evil Socialist -- that is called circular logic.

Obama is either incredibly inept or he is trying to destroy the economy. Either way, he's got to go.

Ron Paul predicted this climate, since 1988, and repeatedly tried to warn us of it. Pretty amazing for a "nutcase" huh?

Out of these 3 possible answers, this was the best to me. To me, the coolest thing he did was get rid of DADT. He keeps his composure very pleasant and professional and he's quite the wordsmith and orator.

He used Keynesian economics to keep us from sliding into a depression. But unlike Roosevelt, it did not include a Works Progress Administration, that created jobs. Roosevelt could do it, because he did not have the deficit problem we now have. Obama created the greatest deficit in our country's history, and that humongous deficit will always hold us back. The good ole days will never come back. With Roosevelt they sang "Happy Days Are Here Again," but with Obama those happy days will never arrive. If Romney were to win, he would just inherit an economic problem there is no remedy for. "Once I owned a railroad, brother can you spare a dime?" We are all there.
