What if there are aliens among us right now, but they move so fast that to them we seem as if we're in slow motion and to us they are nothing more than a blur/spirit? Could there be beings living in the space between the moments?

Yes
Nope
I think...

My question is if there are out of space aliens then why don't these beings show themselves? If they are more technically advanced than we are then how can our governments hide them?

If that was the case it seems like we'd see the effects of them bumping into things and interacting with things.

They wouldn't be "beings" in the sense of the word that we've come to accept, but perhaps there's room to believe that transcendent "beings" exist between the gaps of what we cannot perceived.

For something to travel at the speed of light would make them gods, IMO.

Seems likely, remember that Trek episode "Wink of an Eye"? Makes one a bit self conscious, though!

Funnily enough I watched that episode a few months ago and forgot about it, that could be what gave me the idea. :o)

If given some time I could come up with a whole lot of What ifs.... What you got here could be true or something similar and yet what I believe about other intelligent life in the universe is that they seen us and observed us and decided not to waste time on us and went on about their way a long time ago.

    of course there could.

I've often wondered if trees and/or rocks are carrying on mobile lives, having conversations, etc. etc. etc. but they move so slowly [and we move so quickly] that neither of the two species can recognize the full lives the other one experiences. talking treesrocks carrying mobile lives conversations slowly species recognize lives experiences

.... because aliens have nothing better to do with their lives than buzz around us watching us take weeks to type non-sensical questions into a computer and sharing it with others, who like me, are stupid enough to read it in the first place and then certifiable enough to respond to it.

Not in conventional space. They'd have to travel at nearly light speed and "relativity" would eat that lunch (mass increases with speed requiring limitless energy to continue acceleration).

Now "String Theory" might permit them to slip in and out of our time-space.

einstein was on weed - his therory does not hold water because another theory states that light is affected by gravity therefore light has mass and light having mass does not expand to limitless breadth and no depth at light speed - it is obvious - there may be a limit - but it is not the speed of light.

they are now debunking the string theory - the only thing we know for sure is that we are idiots and know nothing

Actually, relativity states that light will be affected by gravity (and this is an observable phenomenon).

Light has various speeds - hence the utility of applying refraction in optical devices. The reference velocity is a vacuum.

We always know less than we hope to know, but achieving light speed with continued thrust has pretty much been trashed.

I agree but light changes speed depending on the media it is passing through that means it is not outside of the realm of mass objects so it must adhere to the same principles as other mass objects - and since that is true light would have infinite breadth and no length at light speed - and it obviously does not adhere to that standard theory since light with no length would have no visible spectrum so since light debunks the relativity theory it must be flawed

Possibly - all theories are wrong. Some are useful.

There may be a singularity in the relativistic expression of mass being accelerated vs light traveling at a constant rate for a given media.

actually I agree with you - I just cant get over the premise that all matter and energy particles are made up of the same building blocks and current findings are making that more evident.

they are discovering smaller particles than what was thought of - the electrons and protons and even light particles are thought now to be made up of smaller particles - and you are right tough to prove, but all agree that there is a power that holds it all together that they cannot explain

we are a construct made up of tinkertoys designed and put in motion by something we will never be able to prove.

yep that is my understanding - that is why matter and energy can be switched so easily matter and energy cannot be destroyed - only changed
