I was told to I refused. Co-workers wouldn't care for welfare patients and treated those patients poorly I did nursing care for any one. Co-workers did not complete paperwork required. I stayed after on my own time to finish up properly so we would pass audits Co-workers mean to people with menatl illness or religious. WRONG! I quit.

I have never in my life experienced reverse discrimination before.. but... I was working at a major county hospital in the Dallas area and a couple of the black nurse aids were constantly calling me 'whitey'... I didnt' call them blacky, had no idea why they kept being so disrespectful to me. They were horrible nurse aids, didn't give a rats ass about the patients and since the floor manager lacked back bone to stand behind me I finally gave up and quit after 6 months. I could deal with the nasty remarks about me, but I couldn't deal with patient lives being placed in jeopardy because these lazy ass women wanted to give the least amount of care possible and still collect a paycheck.

If I am not comfortable around my manager I usually end up telling him to go fly a kite and quit. Not necessarily that polite either. Depends on how pissed I am.

I picked the salary, but that isn't true. Where was the "Other?" After seven years of working midnight shift in the computer room for the Colorado Dept. of Revenue, I quit because I got burned out.

..telling him how close he was to his own demise..How he needs to interact with people alot better..(bcaus he never wouldve done that with another co-worker of mine..who was a psycho & probably wouldve killd my x foreman..probably saved my x foreman's life in that rgard too)..That he can shove this job up his wazoo & go do a few choices things with one of his cows that he owned (of course I made sure not to make any threats, like beatng the crap out of him..that also wouldve gottn me arrested)..A friend of mine who workd there with me,read the letter..He loved what I wrote & said that foreman was scared s#@%-less..He thought I might sue him 4 harassment..

Coulda picked any of the above:
    - I've worked contract jobs before, so those would be instances where I was a temp.
    - I left a few jobs to take a pay increase elsewhere.
    - I worked for a telecommunications company where the coworkers told us "We aren't paid to think", so I left.
    - I had a call center job where the customers felt entitled to yell at us for their problems, so I left.
    - And my last job was one where I reported to an alcoholic who never wanted to lead but always blamed the experienced techs for not doing his job (he felt that all he had to do was go onto Yahoo all day long.)

People doesn't quit companies people quit people and one thing I will never let anyone to stick a finger on my face, special sex abuse or like verbally abuse... Nowadays many people think because they own their own business they believe that they can do whatever they want with an employee, not with me, that is why I told my boss years ago, I will never do illegal stuff and I rather clean toilets than work for him, I quit and I got better off. I was a manager them and he was another animal, but never was I afraid of him or his superiors. Bring it on... I have nothing to lose; they will be the ones... because if I clean toilets at least is peaceful... I know what I mean. I quit 1 and the best decision I ever made, even if I didn’t have a job line up, God provided me to find a job less than a week and it was not cleaning toilets

I was working alone one Sunday as a dishwasher (there was supposed to be 2 on Sundays) in a busy restaurant. In addition to dishes, pots and pans, I was also required to pan bacon, make salad and assist the baker. I'd been on shift a couple hours when I paused to take a short break and the chef yelled at me. I threw my apron in the dish pit and walked out. I hated that job.

Actually it wasn't a rude boss but the option I wanted to post wasn't available so I had to pick one. The reason I quit was because I was forced to lie, and I didn't want to do that. It was a telemarketer job, I was required to call up people just as they were sitting down to dinner and get them to answer a survey. The survey took about 40 minutes to answer, but if I told people that they would hang up - 99% of the people would hang up immediately anyway, but every now and then I would come across a nice little old lady who was too polite to hang up right away. But after about 10 minutes they would ask "how much longer will this take?" And I was told by my bosses to lie and tell them "just five more minutes" even though we knew it would take another half hour to complete. I felt so bad lying and taking advantage of the politeness of these little old ladies that I walked out halfway through my second shift - its the ONLY job I have ever quit in the middle of a shift, but I just couldn't stand it any longer, I felt dirty lying like that, and I despised my bosses for making me lie.

Actually, the job I left was pretty much for all of the above. The whole experience was very negative, and I didn't make squat. It was worth more for me to stay at home and be a homemaker for awhile. Life is too short!

I have only resigned from a job one time... the boss was as corrupt as a Mob boss and with everything he did, this was actually a possibility. Anyone who crossed him in a financial way, would "disappear", literally. I gracefully got out of there as quietly and peacefully as I could.

At one time I was supervising customer service for an online business, my boss was playing millionaire and didn't pay the customers to which we owed money... At one time, when pressed hard about when we would pay them, he said to me : Give'em BS, lie to them, I don't have the money and won't pay...

Since it was MY name on the mails, and ME that had to put up with this on the phone, I said "Screw you" and left right then and there...

A few months later I was called in to testify against him in a trial for fraud... I happily did so!
