A mix of everything... Smart dialogue, well-written plot, good character development etc. etc... These are more crucial to me than the genre.

Truthfully, I love all movie genres, but I love to laugh more than anything, so I'm always looking for a good (or bad) comedy that can get me laughing so hard that I start clapping like a retarded seal. 'The Hangover' movies about do it.

Along with Sci-fi. Comedy movies can be funny (while most beith stupid altogether) the few actual good ones tend to have little replay value, where Sci-fi and Horror movies can have incredibly high replay value. You might think that Horror movies are jest meant to be "scary" that's a lie, bad Horror movies are just meant to be scary and/or cheesy. Horror movies can have great story, atmosphere, and characters as well, and can be scary which is a plus.
