What do you think would be worse; having to pass a large kidney stone or being forced to go to a Justin Bieber concert (unarmed and without earplugs)?

Having passed what looked like a fairly small kidney stone to me, even I, an avid Bieber disliker, would choose going to the concert.

Justin Bieber isn't that bad, he's just like everyone else; making their dreams happen. 2 years ago, I despised him, but that's just because I was jeaolus that he became a young star. Besides, JB has matured and plus this whole Anti-Bieber thing is just getting old.

Yeah I was thinking more about the age of his fans than whether he is old enough to drink or not. Obviously if he wasn't famous there is no way anyone would serve him, with him looking about 11 years old.
I think if I had to go, I would be needing a large bottle of vodka on hand, to make it slightly less traumatic! :-)
  • Stef an... Wayne T... 2012/08/15 19:39:14

I'm not sure if the age of the majority of his fans would determine if they did or did not serve alcohol since he must have plenty of fans who are over eighteen or twenty one across the world, I don't know how that all works. Plus, what is the legal drinking age in Europe, like as soon as you're out of the womb?
  • Wayne T... Stef an... 2012/08/16 00:40:27

Yeah, I was just assuming all the fans are probably children or parents in charge of children.

In the UK I think you're aloud to drink a small amount, such as a glass of wine in your own home from about 5 years of age by law. The age that you're aloud to buy alcohol in a shop or in a bar is 18. I think you can drink in a restaurant at 16 if an adult buys it for you.
Most people generally start to go out drinking in bars and clubs from about 16 on average, even though it's not exactly legal. :-)
