Honestly, I think the single greatest threat to humanity is short-sightedness. A species that will hunt its food to extinction even through it KNOWS it is doing it is not soundly rooted in long term security.

The second greatest threat is religious extremism.

The third is success, or rather the apathy that arises therefrom, which ties back into short sightedness.

Humans have a choice... we are at a crossroads... a path to destruction, or a path to everlasting life. We can destroy this world until it is unlivable, or we can take care of this world, create sustainable technology, and sail the cosmos, and our legacy will live on in true immortality.

When God gets ready to end it all, then it will be over. I don't know if the rapture is real though. However, there has to be a reason and a purpose that humans were placed on the earth in the first place. Still, I don't know if I can buy the Bible version of the truth. Much if it is very hard to believe, especial Noah's ark and Samson killing a thousand men with a donkey's jawbone. As of now, I'm a Deist. :)

Actually, the rapture will remove millions of Christians who have faith and strive to walk with God through Jesus. This event will leave 100s of millions one earth who will war and which will eliminate the majority. Consequently, 'humans will kill each other.' is accurate.

It all sounds great but the rapture as you put it is more like a hollywood movie.

Racism, Religion and Greed.

We have seen that some people would rather destroy the USA rather than to agree with a black man. We have seen Christians versus Muslim and even within those religions there are wars.

Greed is the reason we have polarity in our negotiations and that is causing our congress to not do anything and hate the other side. the congress is where political correct comes from. If their conduct is that bad then we on the bottom outside the eye of the media are worse. My neighbors speak less to each other based on party lines.

The rich are trying to buy america. Sunday morning is more segregated than ever. The racial line between whites and people of color is growing. No, conservatives will not compromise and democrats are acting like punks.
