    Nothing will completely destroy the human race, because there are humans on both the Moon and Mars for Earth catastrophes, and there are humans elsewhere in the galaxy as well.

    The Sun will eventually clear the Earth of life though. All stars eat their planets eventually.

    I worded that badly. I'm not saying that religion IS delusion. That's a different conversation. I do think that many who ARE religious, are ALSO delusional. That is to say that it is overwhelmingly the religious who deny climate-change, and thus refuse to do anything to stop it. The overwhelming majority of all wars have been fueled by religious hatred, and sooner or later, it will lead to another world war.

    Humans do more to destroy themselves through war and social degradation than any other thing, whether it be natural disaster or disease. And with the current world climate I see a great deal more inhumanity to man coming in the near future.
