I watched all four parts of this series. I don't think Beck is being alarmist, he is being a realist. How many people have said since 9/11, what did they know and when did they know it? How many blamed the government for not stopping 9/11 from happening? There are too many "Monday morning quarterbacks", wanting to blame someone or something else for doing or not doing -----whatever. It happened in Russia, it can happen here. The question is, are we going to say someone like Glenn Beck is fear-mongering, or are we going to do whatever it takes to prevent it happening here? We have to be right 100% of the time, they only have to be right once.

Giving facts so that people can be prepared in a worse case senario is not being an alarmist. From that point on it is up to the individual to agree or diagree with what is said. I am one of the people who wants to know all of the facts so I can be prepared.

I am not talking about his presentation ALL the time, just this, I think he did a good job on the special, and was wondering if they include this in "right wing fear mongering" or if it is just good suggestion to save us the trauma of a disaster....

Glen Beck is a free thinker and he is just warning us of what could happen .Beck can been seen on cnn news at 7pm each night followed by Nancy Grace. Both are a good source to watch.

Iraq is the nation we are in right now attempting to help them build a secure, stable government that will work towards having freedoms and liberty, like we have here, we had to remove their leader Saddam Hussien, and it is our responsibility to fix the power vaccuum we caused.

Iran is a hostile state refining uranium for nuclear weapons, with enough machines in place and being built that they will have a nuclear weapon in 18 months, and with the rest of the Middle East in such a torn state, that would put Iran in charge of the entire area.

The religious aspect is this, the Iranian clerics, the ones that are consulted when their Ayatolla makes any decision, interpret the Qu'ran as a book that incites war with all infidels. They also do not care about collateral damage because if muslims die in a strike at infidels, those muslims are counted as martyrs in their beliefs, are these people anyone in the world wants to have nuclear capabilities.

We had removed Saddam, and are trying to keep Iraq stable enough for the government to start working so they can organize their military, and as far as Osama being hard to find, do you remember the soviet invasion of Afaganastan? The reason the soviets gave up was two fold, we were aiding the afgani army, and it is really hard to fight a nation that is mostly deserted and half of it is cave filled mountains.

No one is really keeping information out of the media a lot of it seems to be quite unrelated, like the busses missing and things like that really are not evident of concern alone, but in these dangerous time we live in. It is well known about the permission to kill children thing, the dying the beard thing, the warning the US to convert to Islam before an attack all those things are "common knowledge" and easily findable if you just look. Osama was highly critisized by his religious peers for 9-11 because he did not openly warn about an impending attack if we did not convert to islam, nor did he consult clerics and get permission to kill in the name of Allah.

You have to think of it rationally, when someone steals a school bus, do you hear about it nationwide, no but you do hear about it in your community and you need to keep on top of your community news. Not so that you can randomly strike at anyone that looks like a Muslim, but so that you can be more vigilant and then make your community less likely to be attacked.

I hope I cleared some things up for you... feel free to ask if you have any more questions

Yes they have to consult clerics and they decide how many lives they are allowed to take...

You are looking at arabs an wondering their intention and I am telling you, repeating from the vieos in the media section that you are allocating your attention incorrectly, as not all muslim exremists are arabic. Hell most peopledo not realize that Iranians are not arabic descent but aryan, they are caucasian by genetic description, and that they can blend in with our people pretty easily.

What the average American can do to fight terrorism in our communities is to become active in our communities, be aware if anyone is watching schools, follow up on community news. On a small scale of your community you can know things like you children's school bus driver, which should pretty much be the same every day. If one of the parents of the children that ride the bus could be in contact with the driver outside of work, if the bus driver is going to be absent from work, they could let the contact parent know. This would assist in preventing panic if the regular driver is not there, and if there is no notification letting your children know if something is out of the ordinary, like an unfamiliar driver, not to get on the bus unless previously notified. Becomming involved with the school administration and actively looking to develop a plan if an incident occurs at the school if one is not in place already. Pushing to have local law enforcement present at the school at all times to deter your communities children as a potential target, these people are not looking for a war, they are looking for unsuspecting prey. Again I stress these are not new ideas, or my own fabrications, these are things I picked up out of these videos that are a common rational plan for preparedness, the arabs that own the 7-11 are not the target, nor is the family of arabs that goes to the mosque on friday, the target is those who are not going to stand out. It is not my notion that we should even engage these people, just to show them that we are a tight community, and not the easy targets that they take us for, one of the biggest threats to ourselves is not being active and involved in our own communities.

What they are banking on is an irrational response on our own citizens, the musils that live in our country, they want to go to the people of the middle east and show them that we are exterminating and discriminating against THEIR RELIGION. The are trying to scapegoat us in unifying the Islamic nations on a world scale Jihad, knowing full well that without their oil, we are going to have a problem maintaining a long standing war.

Just focus on uniting your community, lead by example Sajama, become more actively involved with your children's schools and let the school board know that you have all the communities children's well being at heart. Suggest to the school board and PTA having a couple of officers come to the school durring the day and do paperwork, give them like a GC office. Just so the car is in the lot and the presence is known by anyone outside the school, these are excellent deterents, let local media know that your community is aware of the bus drivers and have a system to ensure your children's safety. Of course make sure that these things are in place before contacting the media, or the foolish you will look if they aren't and the media investigates, but seriously, the first step is to become active and aware. Take pride in your community, make it known that...

God forbid, but if something happens in your own community, you are well prepared to respond to the threat witth well versed protocols to resolve the situation without delay, and again is a model for other communities.

I think he's a realist who believes in prevention. What a coincidence.
Me too! God forbid the 'worst case scenario" occurs. Those who say
otherwise, the utterly blind, ranting and raving their bleeding hearts
out, will have no one to blame but themselves. Their remorse will mean
as little to me then - as their opposition does now.

Of course they would blame Bush. No question about it. They'd
conveniently forget how vehemently opposed they were to the U.S. doing
everything in our power to PREVENT terrorist attacks - and go after the
very people who told them it could happen and wanted to do something
    about it.

Terrorists are out there, watching every move we make.
I'm positive there are many flying under the radar who have yet to be
caught -- and I'm all for the U.S. taking whatever actions are deemed
necessary to prevent them from acting on their very real and
potentially horrific and devastating plans NOW.

I especially like the fact that he cited very real incidents that happened elsewhere that offer us insight into their tactics, and what can be done TO DETER them from making these kind of stikes on our children. He also does the service of telling people that our reaction is important, that we should not focus our rage on random muslims as these hate crimes will add fuel to the terrorists recruitment.

Prepare for the worst, expect the best...

No he is giving real warnings! I think glen beck is a fairly good guy and sincere with the info ! there are so many behind the scenes warning's that you actually have to look for because the main media doesn't want to broadcast it! And I think reality is people don't want thier world interupted with truth!

Girlfriend, did you hear about that man who was videotaping the Bay bridge a couple of summers back? Someone saw him and called police. When they checked him out, he had ties to organizations funding Al Queda. The tape showed he had filmed both bridge spans and the traffic traveling on the bridge. Of course, there was nothing in the main stream media about it. Imagine that!
