What do you think about someone that tries to make you feel guilty about something just so they can get their way?

It's called being manipulative, and a LOT of people do it. The question you have to ask yourself is this: What's going to make you feel guiltier longer; their trying to manipulate you, or you putting a guilt trip on yourself for saying no to their request?

a distant memory is what I think of a person like that. No good will come from spending another moment with someone like that. trust me on this. I was with a girl who pulled stuff like that, I was way too nice and easy and it got out of hand. I cut that one loose, but the longer I had waited it was far more messy. don't make my mistake, walk the first time even it's hard, just walk away and don't look back.

lol! hmmmmm..... kinda does sound like we know the same person now that cha' mentioned it. ...yikes!

I don't understand people like this. I wasn't raised that way and I just can't comprehend people that do others like that.

If you meet the rubber to the road that is the gist of it. If your looking for validation of feelings that's a different question. I think you were really trying to sort out feelings, good for you, better then to hold them inside.

That sounds like emotional blackmail and he should know better...he obviously doesn't. You are your own person now and he shouldn't be trying to influence anything. I like long storys if you need to vent, you know where I am :))

I don't know about it being a good read but sometimes it clarifys things writing it down
