three cups of spinach (but it will work with less).
two tablespoons of peanut butter (use one TBS for less fat/cals)
half of a banana (and/or whatever blendable fruit you have (pinapple is really good)
one scoop of vanilla protein powder
1/4 cup of almond milk (or any milk)
And about a handful of ice.
To make a thicker shake use less milk and more ice. This is the recipe from the book Fit2Fat2Fit and it was featured on the Oz Show! If you follow the directions exactly and don't add extras, it packs about 300 calories.
And I still manage to lose weight. ;-)
First you get the cereal out. Then the milk. Then a bowl. Open the tab of the box, then the bag and proceed to pour in a smooth motion. When you feel you have enough, tilt box up to stop cereal flow, and place on counter.
Next, grab the milk container and open it. Pour the milk over your cereal on a circular motion; this way it coat the cereal evenly. (Note: this is where a lot of people mess up, they usually just pour it in on one side, which will not give you the best cereal eating results.) When you have filled the bowl with a suitable amount of milk- I prefer almost half way depending on the amount of cereal- tilt the container back up, gently and close.
Finally, and this is the most difficult part, put the cereal box and milk container back where they belong. Then grab a spoon and enjoy a perfectly made bowl of cereal.
