I like the darkness. You have to rely on your other senses sometimes to lead you where to go. If you hear a noise and can't identify it, it gets your heart pumping lets you know you're still alive:D
I thought about saying night first, but then I thought about it. While I am a night-owl and basically nocturnal, day time is when I am at school and with my friends and away from my house. While most of my activities like blogging and writing and knitting are done at night when I can't sleep, it is when I am trapped in my house with my alcoholic parents fighting non stop and it is also when most people are unavailable to talk on the phone when I need it.
