I don't have sick leave, I have PTO (Paid Time Off) that I can use for whatever I choose. If I use up my allotted hours for the year, I'm able to borrow up to forty hours from the following year. If something medical happens and I need to be off work for a while, I have short-term disability. Twenty-seven weeks worth paid at 100%. My employer has awesome benefits.
