What did you think about Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows part 1?

I personally think it was nothing like the book, since I finished reading it right before I saw the movie. I remembered everything from the book that happened in part 1, and only saw 1 or 2 things that were the same. But that's just my opinion. What did you think of it?

Loved it

Of course the book is beter, but i think my friend loved it too because (and she had no previous harry potter knowledge at all) she wanted to have a haryy potter movie marathon the next weekend (and we did)

Loved it

I thought that a lot of it was the same compared to the other mocies they made. it was actually really good. I liek the visual effects on TTOTB went to see it again two days later, the only complaint I have is that htye messed up the part with Xenophilius/ where they took luna. I was looking forwardt o the crumplehorned snorcack hiorn blowing up : )

Loved it

I liked it. The so called nude scene between Harry and Heroimine was not really that bad. What was really creepy was seeing Harry in a bra when they made Harry's friends look like him.

I thought it was amazing compared to all the other movies. it seems i forgot just how much i LOVED harry potter. Its the ultimate fantasy

I really loved it. I'd like to see it again after rereading the book, but I thought it was very good. I think the people who are like "oh, I hated it." or "it wasn't close enough to the book" are crazy. The not close enough to the book part is probably true, but I didn't really think so. But that opinion will probably change. But I don't see how people couldn't like it. Even if you're not a fan of HP it was a very good film anyway.

Loved it

I hadn't read the book in a while, so my memory of it wasn't good...however the movie did have many things I remembered from the book! I guess I didn't actually forget that much then :)
but I won't start comparing and contrasting book to movie until AFTER the final installment! Can't wait for that!
(in short: MOVIE WAS AWESOME!!!)

It wasn't the adaptation of a book to movie I've ever seen but I could help but think that if I hadn't read the book I'd have been so totally lost.

Loved it

I think it's amazing. I had also read the book before I saw the film, but I don't think it was that different. In fact, I find this movie one of the best Potter movies so far. Of course, movies will never be as good as books, but in my opinion, this one is actually pretty close. Waaaay better than fifth and sixth movie.
