Being left-handed .. they all smear across the paper the same ..
My handwriting is .. needless to say .. not that great
and not easily readable either.

Once I'd gotten into the habit of using black and nothing but black, it became bothersome to use any other color of ink. Spend enough years at the mercy of those ladies in Medical Records and you get helplessly conditioned.
Nowadays, of course, we have electronic medical records (EMR) and it's only ones and zeroes.
So calm down.
