I don't own a laptop so i pick this one

Macbook because it doesn't get any viruses; unlike Toshiba does get viruses and blue screens.

Of course it would be dell. first, hp is soo old. second, if you dont own a laptop whats the point of voting any way? and last, your a jerk because you only let them pick certain kind of companies. which make it stupid. JUST LIKE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't get an apple laptop or an hp laptop they suck
Acer and toshiba are the best brand laptops i have ever used

I own two of them, I have had an HP in the past as well as an NEC. I'm pretty pleased with the Dell.

I goofed i didn't see Asus on there they are the best for sure and HP comes in second! I have had several laptops and my current Asus G73jw is by far the most reliable fastest best built laptop i have owned! and to be honest i find it very hard to believe that Dell got 5 votes cuz in my opinion they are the cheapest pieces of junk i have ever seen! I have seen better quality than Dell in those cheap little preschool kids toy laptops!

I am a bit confused? why do you think you can do more with a mac? there is no where near the software available for macs as there is for Pc's? the only thing mac's are good for is wasting money you could spend on something else!

just because mac has logic pro, protools and garageband. that's the main reason why. all of these i need to use in my school and my work.

Actually these days the components in a laptop are the same. The service agreement is the only thing which should be discussed.

If you're sold on pc I think Sony makes the best. If money isn't a problem why not buy an Apple airbook? For all round perfection it's the one. The HD picture is better than any pc and it's lighter than any of them. http://www.apple.com/macbookair/

Whatever... Just not Dell, Gateway or HP/Compaq They all suck and won't last more than two years.

Especially not Gateway... They are the worst pieces of junk ever made...like a 1980's Ford.

I'm an HP man. Its the only brand of computer I'll ever buy (desktop or laptop). HP's are consistently good. And the only time I ever had to deal with their service department, they went the extra mile to make sure I got excellent service in a timely manner.

I have a Toshiba that works great. The only draw back on it is that the speakers really bite! If you buy a Toshiba then get yourself some external speakers or a set of head phones for it. I don't know what the best lap top is. I would think it would be a matter of choice.
