    I don't know about books being made into movies, but I know a place I wish they would make a movie about it's history. The place I'm talking about is The McPike Mansion: McPike Masion this place is over 143 years old, & yes it is haunted. It's said to have over 12 spirits roaming the Mansion, it's got a gruesome history & some gruesome deaths have occurred in this place before the 1950's. It's been abandon since the 50's. If you want any more info just ask.

    I love this book, not enough movies focus on Indian history, which is a very beautiful time in my opinion.

    Alton Illinois, Alton is known as one of the most haunted cities in America. I visit it all the time, & I'm good friends with the owner. I think you'd enjoy your visit there.

    The only thing is, as you can tell by the picture, the Mansion is considered condemned but on the states historic list so they can't tear it down lol. The wooden floors are so old & weak, it feels like you're walking on a dry sponge.

    I've heard some murders took place, a few suicides. Not all of it was gruesome but some of it was.

    I've been throughout the whole house 3 times, it's got a vaulted wine cellar, it's Victorian style. It's got 3 floors besides the basement, & it's been vandalized countless times. Some kids decided to break into it back in the late 90's & they learned a good lesson from that, & it wasn't from the police lol, try & guess what it was?

    Ooh freaky! I would love to visit a place that's haunted but I think it would scare the crap out of me! That is... if they decided to show themselves. I haven't been lucky with that. I've only had one paranormal encounter and I just felt something.

    You kinda feel a vib when you're in the front yard, but I haven't seen anything but I do believe in them. I've never encountered anything anywhere. But one of these days I'll have my lucky day I'm sure lol.

    One time I was sitting on my bed and I felt some one sit down beside me. Even the bed had an indentation as though someone was sitting there. Freaked me out! That's been the only thing.

    Do you think you'll freak out when you see one? XD
