Swan Song was a good book, but, it was a long read, I believe it had over 900 pages.

Swan Song was long, but it flowed well. King's The Stand was even longer and that too flowed real well.

"Diner Guys" by Chip Silverman was already made into two good movies, "Diner" & "Tin Men" but there were so many other great stories in the book about Barry Levinson and his buddies coming of age in 1950's & 1960's Baltimore.

**J.D Robb "Naked In Death" (There are over forty books, so I'd choose the best of them).
Mary Roach "Stiff" (Non-Fiction; It'd make a good documentary)

Not a move, a series would rock though. "Dies the fire" by sm sterling, the whole change series that follows. Well at least the ones based in the northwest, I haven't read the ones about nantucket yet.

It's about a girl(seventeen-year-old Janie), getting sucked into other people’s dreams when somebody near her falls asleep..but she can’t tell anybody about what she does cause they’d never believe her, or they’d think she’s a freak.,(if you read it you'll understand)..she later meets a boy who becomes her love interest..she only has one best friend,Carrie,a mother who's always wasted,and no father..and yeah,that's it.it's a great book-all three of them-but I'm not good at summaries : P You should look it up :)

That sounds SO familiar! I have this book that's accumulated short stories into it. I think that might be some kind of summary in the book...I don't know! I will definitely check it out!

I was waiting to see if anyone would bring up her name, thank god someone did! I love that series but I always felt it would be better as a series, that way all the stories (not just the trilogy) could be incorporated.

That would be kind of interesting to see how that would work if they tried it, they are making a movie of world war z so maybe the survival guide will be the sequel, lol.

The Surgeon of Crowthorne by Simon Winchester...Maybe with Hugh Jackman as the Surgeon and John Hurt as the Professor, a very interesting story with drama,intrigue and slight touch of the macabre.
