I would just like to say that I hate when you get all excited when a book becomes a movie, then the casting comes and you're like WTF NO YOU DON'T MATCH THE CHARACTER!

I heard "Memorial Day" was being turned into a movie ! No casting news that I have heard. Why they are starting in the middle kinda bugs me. I think they would kick the new Bonds butt at the theater ! I don't like the new Bond.

I had heard that to, and I agree, why would they not start at the beginning of the series...they would lay the groundwork for all the future feats of Mitch Rapp....Probably the movie would not be as good as the book anyway, by they time the screenwriters get done screwing around with it to meet all the rules and regulations for meeting the ratings requirements...

"Deadfall" is a high recommendation. It's not sappy romance (I hate that), far from it actually. It's full of action and has quite an imaginative storyline.

"Rot and Ruin" was really good, too. I've been looking for its sequel fruitlessly. :(

"The Demon Trapper's Daughter" wouldn't be so bad either.

There are many, many more that I could list, but I'd take up a whole page!

i think the cherub series by robert muchamore, or any alan bissett or ian banks books should be made into films, no idea about casting, haven't thought that far yet

I would realy enjoy seeing the Hollywood interperitation of The Reality Dysfunction by Peter F. Hamilton. That saga still gives me nightmares.
