It's between two. Falafels and baklava, or this Asian dish I sort of invented? Rice cooked with a little soy sauce. Separate pan, add medium-sliced carrot chips and enough water that there's a little water above the level of carrots, then cut up and add cubed red, yellow, orange peppers with vegetable bullion, two spoonfuls of butter, more water that they're just covered. Let cook down until tender, leaving a spoonful of sauce at the bottom. Add two spoonfulls of kung pao and a dash of onion powder. I add this other sauce to the rice, but I forget the variety. Comes in a bag at the grocery store. Might be kung pao, they only have a handful of varieties. Once it's well mixed, place on plate, add vegetables and soy sauce on top. Surprised I don' t gain five pounds in water weight w/that one.
I'm making a salmon and shrimp pasta casserole. I cut up the salmon into chunks, saute an onion and some toms and garlic, add a little white wine and basil and then I mix it with precooked penne. Then I stick in some mozzarella and cook it in the oven for 20 mins.
All served with a baguette. Yum. (reasonably healthy)
It's a hit in my house Maggots. But cook the salmon inside the casserole first for 10 mins. Then take it out the oven and add the shrimp and cook for another 10 mins (no lid). As you know, shrimp don't need to be overcooked. Add herbs though: like basil or oregano. Oh and I forgot: add a couple of teaspoons of red pepper flakes to give it a little zip/spiciness if you wish.
Oh, and I will be eating my spaghetti "pastaaaaa" with chopsticks.
