I got him a card that make him cry :/. Its sad to see but he knows how much i love him <3. I also got him hightop green converse like he used to have as a kidand an affliction shirt :).
I manage to find a copy of an older film he loves on DVD. He'd been looking for it for ages, and always mentions it, so I finally found a copy... He'll love it. :D
I think he's had the best present that he ever wanted from me, he walked out of my life over 20 years ago, he said that as far as he's concerned I'm dead, so I'm giving him another year without me in his life
Yes, he should....Life leads many down roads they never thought that they would go...you decide if you want a relationship..or not..sometimes? your'e better off where you are.. Don't let him define you as worthy or not you are..
Honestly though, I already have my grandpa as a father figure, and he actually cares about me, so I've grown to forgive and forget my biological father. Of course, it does still bother me at times, but it's not often.
I'm also bringing him out for dinner.
I haven't seen my dad in years. It took him until my last birthday just to send me a birthday card. He hasn't even tried to be a part of my life.
I don't hate him, but I'm hurt and disappointed. Shouldn't a father want to know his daughter?
He's just not worth the trouble.
