What are the chances that I am going to be able to get off of Sodahead and make the bus to my Bible Study in 85 minutes from now?

I know you don't know me that well, but I've obviously been on SodaHead all day before my interview and all day afterwards. My only other commitment is a Bible Study, and I have to take a bus that leaves in about an hour and a half to get there. It's not a big deal if I don't show up. But if I saw that the only reason I didn't show up is because I was having too much fun on an Internet site, it might seriously impact my self-image.

Note that I was on SodaHead almost all day yesterday too. I'm supposed to be working on a certain project, and I'm just not making the switch...

Part of the problem is that my old computer crashed, I had to get a cheap ThinkPad off of Craigslist, and I have not been able to load the software necessary to resume the project onto the laptop because I lost the disks and I can't afford to replace them right now. That's obviously a huge part of the problem, but it doesn't explain why I'm surfing the Internet all day long.

Anyway it's just a fun question. I realize it's a bit self-indulgent but what the hey.

    Interview for what?

When I was confirmed, I had an interview with my "pastor" who I've never even talked to and he basically said I'm going to hell because I'm not righteous... lol

I meant a job interview that I went to earlier today. The point was that I went to SodaHead before the Interview, came back after the interview, and returned to SodaHead.

By the way, I disagree with that pastor. None of us is righteous. And none of us could get to heaven unless Jesus had made the sacrifice of his life on our behalf. We're all sinners. But because of Christ, we are forgiven.

I got the "job" -- they just can't afford to pay me as of yet. It's just a music gig but I'm going to go for it anyway because it means playing music which I love, and also there will be money later if it works out. "Audition" might have been a better word than "interview" -- but it felt like an interview.

It's looking slimmer. I live in a small house with two other guys, one of them being the landlord (who tends to be a bit officious.) Tonight is one of those rare moments when both of them are away for the evening. It feels worse to sacrifice the rare moments of total privacy than it does to miss a Bible Study that I can get to every Wednesday.

Well...I answered it this way because I'm starting to feel really lazy. But I've felt lazy before and not gotten all bent out of shape over it. You never know, maybe I just need a break. Besides, if I keep on feeling lazy, I won't have to tax myself to memorize the Bill of Rights. But it did finally dawn on me -- what kind of a Libertarian am I anyway if I haven't even memorized the Bill of Rights? Hmmm..... lazy tax memorize rights dawn libertarian memorized rights hmmm bill of rights
