What Are the Best Theme Parks for Roller Coaster Junkies?

To be honest my favorite is actually Carowinds, but Busch Gardens comes in second. It has my favorite roller coaster: Griffon.

Dragster....it will ruin your experience on all other coasters.

I haven't been to any of them. But six flags in New Jersey is pretty fun. It's home to the tallest roller coaster in the world

I've only been to a few so my favourite one is Canada's Wonderland.

both cedar point and kings island we have a platinum pass which gets us into any cedar fair owned park. we go to cedar point almost every weekend. and theyre adding a new ride!!!

i hear six flags isnt as good as cedar point. wehave talked to people who live near six flags they say cedar point is waay better.

I have not been able to ride a roller coaster in over 10 years as I get sick now, But I remember riding Viper at Magic Mountain 22 times in one day. I could only ride Superman once, as When they opened that ride is when I started getting sick.

Kings Dominion, Six Flags georgia. My personal favorites. Busch Gardens has some good coasters (Verbolten opened up in Williamsburg)

Disney World stinks and is too high priced.

4 parks, and 2 water parks. plus that coaster is in universal

I like Universal much better. We belong to the Disney Vacation Club unfortunately and we only stay at the Boardwalk Hotel. We use to go to the parks everyday until a few years ago. Now we just sleep there and go elsewhere. Disney Parks are too expensive and the lines are too long on purpose. When the lines are to short they close one down. The food is overpriced and in some cases slop. My daughter and wife got sick and vomitted at Chief Mickeys and I had much better food in the Army than the Crystil Place. DisneyWorld is often boring, overprice has too many rules, and has too much walking. All of the other local attractions are much better. We now spend our time elsewwhere. Kissimmee has good attractions, as well as Seaworld, Discovery Cove and Universal at at reasonable price.

disney gives free short line passes where you have to pay at universal. but yea the food is bad, $7 for hotdogs and nacho cheese is a plain chips bag with cheese sause on the side

The Disney short pass is no big deal. First you have to be back in their time frame. We once stood on the short pass for 25 minutes. Disney has it down to a science. You are not getting anymore for your money than they want you to. They have more rules than there are stars in the sky. If you think you have a way to enjoy yourself they have a rule against it. At Disney you pay top dollar for crap. Since 1997 we have never been there without having at least one complaint. I could go on for a full day with the problems we have had with them. There management is the phony politically correct BS capital of the world.

yea they have time frame but you get to do other things while you get there, to tell u the truth 25 mins isnt bad compared to 3 hrs

25 minutes is not good for a fast pass. Plus their time frame limits what you can do. Rushing back before the pass expires is no my idea of fun.

We had a great one in Houston before it met the bulldozer.The Texas Cyclone.But I have had heard of the Coasters at Magic Mountain are awesome.. I do want to join ACE.

It's about an hour away, everyone here that is into coasters, hit it up every year and there are people from all over the country that do as well.

American Coaster Enthusiast . Its a club for people who love Roller Coasters & they travel all over the place riding & rating Coasters. They do it after the parks are closed. Like when I worked at Astroworld here in Houston in the 70'S. Looks Fun.

I was til 1976. rode this & I am a coaster junkie ever since.Then I worked at an amusement park during 4 periods of my younger years. Plusrode this in Dallas..{First Picture} Houston second.

My first one is the oldest at Cedar Point, The Blue Streak. Rode it when I was 10, scared me for life! Yours makes mine look like a kiddie ride lol
