hi yer faith, i used to collect them when i was a kid. i got hundreds!. everything from the fantastic four to seargent rock. the hulk, green lantern, superman, batman and robin. and god knows who else. but......like we did in those days before we were savy and understood that these things are valuable.....i GAVE them away! i also had the whole collection of the "war" books (the little ones) and others i had about 500 in the collection and gave them away when i thought i was too old for them!!! what an idiot!!! still i did not know better then. you ok chap?

Hello Reg, where ya been ?? I had to stick to comics as i couldn't reach the top shelf, hehehe, and by the time i could i'd forgotten why i wanted to, lol. These Freak Brothers were non-conformist hippies, and always in trouble with the law. It was anti-establishment at it's finest and funniest. Why is Redknapp the man for England ?? He can't even win an FA cup, how's he going to win a World Cup ? No thanks...next !! Keep snappin' mate, i like your stuff, just don't fall down a grassy bank or get stuck up a gantry, lol.

if not redknapp, who...plus he picks a team from various teams and at spurs he has done wonders with what he was given and remember spurs were second from bottom with 2 points when he took over, which to me is a fantastic achievement and not been bettered by any other english manager....

Yes, but he won't be able to pick foreign players !!! Club managers can choose any nationality to play for them...but England managers are limited, anyway, Redknapps CV, Bournmouth, W Ham, Portsmouth, Saints, hardly International Super Clubs are they ? I think his dog could do better, besides Rosy has a bank account so the FA can pay her, lol. Roy Hodgson is the man, take a look at his CV, and the Baggies are going strong, just beat Liverpool...i rest my case !!

which cup have wba won, and he was great at liverpool...good job your not a lawyer you would lose every case ...so beating liverpool means he qualifies as england manager, what redknapp has done at tottenham qualifies him, better than anyone else

well whatever....we are dead. no chance! i just wish one club had the cohones to build a team entirely of english players......it would be interesting

i totally agree reg, quarter finals and semis if we are very lucky, but i won't hold my breathe, i wish and have said this for over ten years that having all these foreigners would ruin our national team and i was an arsenal supporter for 40 years until i realized i was supporting a foreign team....

Roy Hodgson took Switzerland to the World Cup, he took Udinese to the Europa League Cup semi's, he took Inter Milan to the Champions League, he took FC Copenhagen to twin the league and Fulham into the Europa League for the first time in club history. There is more, but i think he's more than just a coach at WBA. The man is well experienced at International level...what were you saying about 'Arry ???
  • john blindfaith 2012/04/24 17:06:28
    john
other than fulham you are talking foreign teams, harry is without a shadow of a doubt and most experts agree the best english manager and if you ask liverpool supporters they won't agree with you, but time will tell but whoever gets the job will be a failure, because they don't have good enough players..
  • blindfaith john 2012/04/24 17:18:02
    blindfaith
Agree, but it's International experience that Redknapp lacks, plus Spurs are not doing so well right now while WBA are going up the league. Hodgson took over a bad team and is doing well, he couldn't beat the 'old boys' attitude at Liverpool, who has ?? I just don't see 'Arry at the top level, let's be honest, the players were the problem in South Africa, they just didn't play well enough whoever was in charge. Looks like i won't live long enough to see us win again at the top level, what a bummer, lol.

as i say, if fergy was manager they would win nothing, harry took over a very bad team with 2 points and has done fantastic,i think since the talk of england manager it has effected spurs and that is why they have had a bad spell, but they are up there which is still for harry....

well i did go to the skyport but they said my ticket was invalid so i had to come back lol.
as for the ban well....a strange thing.....yarmouth dont have a ban.....you see it is essex and suffolk water that has the ban but not anglia water...daft! but your right since the drought warning it has done nothing but rain and i am going to nborthwest london tomorrow to collect one of my cameras that needed serviceing.....probably had a breakdown from overwork all though my mate reckons it couldn't handle all the crap work it was doing.....jelousy you know.

I remember reading all the supermen comics as a kid, original American issues, they were great, probably worth something now as they are collectable.
