What is the story here? Sept 9th, 2012 the power across America may go off.
All 'civilian electronic communications' may be ceased. It may stay that way for days and days, until a special squad of UN troops show up in your town. They may even be dressed in costumes to appear 'out of this world', with an awesome visual array of "space ships" (Holograms) filling the skies courtesy of project blue light, or blue beam, whatever.
