It was hard sir and it was when I was a year younger than you. No insurance and two years before medicare was available. Pension plan went bust a well. If you lose you job but keep the others, you are much better off than I was. I survived and, I believe, so will you. Good luck and hit your knees daily.

Well none of those options really. I am on unpaid medical leave and my future is uncertain. I'm sorry about your situation. It must be difficult. I hope there is some sort of early retirement package they can offer.

It happened to me, The person that bought the franchise from Boston Market to run Washington, Oregon and Idaho, wanted to open 50 stores, I opened 10 stores for them, managed one. One Sunday we got the call, lock them up. We are out of Business. That was under the Bush Regime, when things was supposed to be good according to some that want to go back to his policies. To this day, there is only one Boston Marked in the entire Northwest. Yes I have felt the pain and all the kids that worked for me!
