Everything about a slide is good! it's slippery, it's wet, it's fast, it's exciting, it's frightening, it's going down, it's splash into the water, it's a flight into the air, it's fun
I almost drowned in a wave pool! I mean, I can actually swim very well, but the waves were coming and coming and coming. I was in about 8 ft of water, so I couldn't touch the floor. I couldn't catch my breath enough to stay afloat of the waves. It isn't like the beach, that you can just retreat to the sand to get out of the waves, or you get out past the big breakers. I was freaked out!
I've always like water slides though. Super fun! Not big on the enclosed ones, I get a little clausterphobic. But a really fast, twisty, turning water slide is great!
Yeah, as I said, I feel very claustrophobic in those closed ones. I also feel like I'm going to turn sideways and get jammed and stuck! But the open slides, they are a blast!!!
WATER SLIDES ALL THE WAY!! Way too many people bump into you in the wave pool, and sometimes there are nasty stuff in there. Water slides are so fun, you can even race people with them. Even though you can get mighty wedgies, it'll be hilarious for somebody else to see and laugh also. FUN. =)
Both. The slides are super fun, but often times the lines are too long. I like both of them. I like to sit by the wave pool and read, and then my boys can play. Then we all go off and ride the slides.
Never tried either but as a kid we used to jump into a flume and get rides that way. Also, nearby there was a small lake with a rope swing over it and we used to swing out over the water and drop in. Our lake here gets pretty wavy at times, too, so we have fun with that. :D
unless they had like tsunami waves, i perfer the slides lol
