How would you feel if a stranger came up to you and attempted to hold your hand? Pretty freaked out, right? Well, that didn't stop college comedy prank group LAHWF from attempting the feat -- and making a video compilation of the best responses.

The video was made on the pranksters' college campus and reactions range from terribly creeped out to mildly amused, but they all have a commonality of being pretty hilarious. Watch the video, then make the call: What would you do if a stranger tried to hold your hand? Would you hesitantly embrace it or attempt a slap in the face?

I would give two quick squeezes, and say "It's set to go off in 5 minutes. Make sure you're out in time," turn a corner and escape.

I try to keep people at a distance, you can tell when I am comfortable with a person depending on how close they are to me. hate to be touched by anyone, and yes even a cute female, I just hate, feels too personal. That goes the same for hugs, I hate hugs from people who are barely acquaintances, I really do, I only hug somebody if I really like them.

Perhaps, moreso I become defensive, whenever someone gets too close I nearly hit unconsciously but it more like a passing thought.

I know many folks that react the same way. And yes, those reactions generally stem from trust issues (usually honestly acquired). Is all good though. Interpersonal contact with the unknown element, is a very commonly frightening thing. I just have one of those kind of personalities, that lends towards reacting pretty fairly in even the strangest of circumstances. Fear, as I understand it, is actually easy to overcome, once the source of the fright is identified and rationalized. Usually, the idea of the fear, is more powerful than the fear itself. Get real! Hell, I don't even hold hands with people I know (family included).

But I'm a grumpy old man and no one in their right mind would want to get in my personal space (i.e. about as far as my fist will reach out) anyway.

I try not to shake hands with people. Most expect it from me, but I just wave and throw in a quick hey or hello. Then fake smile hoping they will let it go. This doesn't just apply to strangers, even acquaintances. lol.

Like Howie Mandell, the comedian. He hosts a lot of game shows now, and it's really weird to see him interact with the contestants. He will NOT shake their hands under any circumstances, and it's pretty obvious that they were briefed beforehand on his germophobia, because the guests on the shows have no problem shaking hands or hugging each other, but they don't try to shake his hand.
