I'd think it was funny.

I was dared to make random conversation with strangers, which turned into holding their hands, then eventually I had to start hugging people. Holding hands isn't that bad. Some people were even happy to hold my hand. It was nice.

I thought I checked, "YES."

People are odd and upleasant puzzles. Sometimes I go along with weird things until I figure out the, what or why of some behavior or other.

I am not a hand holder by habit.

Yes me neither. Nor am I a touchy-feely hugging person. I push off hand holding to young children...
Who knows WHERE that hand might have been, the possibilities are endless.

NO .. just no ..
1. WAY .. way too CREEPY .. Stalker-like .. just an invasion of the personal space of anyone ..
2. Being someone with a Disability .. (especially mine -- the Blindness) .. this is SCARY indeed ..
Basically .. I'd treat this as a HOSTILE intent .. and you'd definitely meet quickly the business end of my cane .. (I can't take chances with my life .. this is definitely invasive indeed .. ) AND I'd make sure that the police understood this was an UNWANTED invasion of my personal space as well ..

This is just WRONG on many levels .. and dangerous too ...

The stunt shows how disconnected this group/individual is from the Reality of LIFE ..

(especially the dangers of unwanted physical contact .. too many folks have been assaulted/battered by others (including strangers) as well as being MURDERED all because they trusted the good intentions of another too).

RESPECT the personal space of the others .. DO NOT Touch anyone unless they allow it (give permission) and if they say NO .. HONOR the NO and do NOT touch them at all.

NO Matter what .. do NOT do this to someone with a disability ..
It is difficult enough to navigate when one sense is not there .. but even worse when you sneak up and 'surprise' the person too ..

This is NOT a prank .. this is DANGEROUS and SCARY.

I bet if they tried to hold your hand, your reaction would have made them feel terrible and this video project would have been canceled, rofl

this was very INVASIVE indeed ..
even when I was sighted ..
I'd have taken this as a PERSONAL ASSAULT ..
the person would indeed .. be finding themselves ..
in a hold while I waited for the police to ARREST them for this UNWANTED touch ..

(and now .. with my Blindness .. this is even SCARIER INDEED ... )
for I can NOT 'see' what is approaching ..
and if you INVADE my personal space ..
touch me withOUT my permission ..
you can bet I WILL Defend myself from this ..
to make sure I LIVE and Breathe another day ..

Yeah right. Most people say things on the Internet that they will never do in real life.
But if you belong to the minuscule percentile with enough guts, and lack of shame or embarrassment when passerbys give you strange looks, then that'd be fun to watch. Make sure you hold his/her hand in a vice grip.

this is pretty funny, i think! and most people seemed to take it with a sense of humor. at church there is a part where everybody is "supposed" to hold hands for the "Our Father/Lord's Prayer" ... and I've done it with strangers. it's no big deal.

OTOH, someone below comments something like "what if they don't wash their hands after pooping" or ... "choking the chicken".

most of the people at the church look like they stopped choking the chicken a looooooooong time ago!!! ha ha ha. as for poopy hands, well, that's another matter entirely.
