We don't need to tell you that "Hunger Games," the new fantasy movie based on a novel, is getting a lot of attention lately -- and it's not even out in theaters yet (only a couple more days, people.) But just because it's not out yet doesn't mean "Hunger Games" mania hasn't swept the nation. With "Hunger Games" fan gear and even "Hunger Games"-themed weddings, it's clear that this movie is going to be a hit.

So why not make another product out of it? Like, for instance, a board game. Sadly, the "Hunger Games" game isn't actually a real thing (not yet, anyway.) It's just a spoof that College Humor did to make fun of the ridiculous fan-dom that the movie has accumulated. But that doesn't mean we can't laugh a little at the idea, anyway. And laugh we will. How would you react to a "Hunger Games" board game?

Dear Sodahead,
If your gonna talk about the Hunger Games stop with all this Twilight like nonsense. Most of the fanbase is not like this. I know you find some like that but if you actually talked to the fans that read the book before it was even gonna be a movie you'd know this team peeta and team gale makes us puke.

For the last time, it is nothing like Twilight. Sodahead is really ruining the mood with all this Twilight crap. Yeah, some people say Team Peeta or Gale, but those of us who actually read the series know how ridiculous that sounds. We find it completely ludicrous and insulting. And seriously, if your writers are going to comment, how about you get them to read the books first, so at least they won't sound as ignorant?!

Actually, there are two Hunger Games board games already out. I believe The Hunger Games Training Days came out before the movie was even announced, but I may be wrong about that.

Ughhh... I hate how since it's a national bestseller, everyone's buying it NOW because they've just heard about it. I'm proud to be one of the few who actually read the whole trilogy before it was even popular(when it came out in 2008) and frankly, I'm sick of the "fans" who are getting excited about it just now.

I'm going to get the first book out from the library because I think it sounds like a great series and because I would like to have at least started reading the first book before watching the movie in a theater. What's wrong with that?

Well, I don't think I would get obsessive (maybe semi-obsesive, I don't know) and I won't say that i'm the "original fan", that would be silly; I wonder what the people who have just started reading the books recently and call themselfs the "origial fan" mean by that.

I just hate it because

A) It's pretty over-rated and, honestly, I think it's just a passing fad. People will stop talking about it once the final movie is out.

B) People compare it to Harry Potter (which I'm totally nuts about) and say it's better and all this jazz when I could hold up a fight about how much better Harry Potter is.

I hate the competition and I hate the constant fights. True, I've never read or watched the Hunger Games (I'm strictly against it, I'd feel like I was cheating on J.K. Rowling) but I refuse to. I'm stubborn. Plus, if I'm correct, the Hunger Games is totally violent. Correct? I can't stand violence too much...

You can't know if it's overrated or how it compares to Harry Potter unless you read it (don't know why people keep comparing Harry Potter, Twilight and the Hunger Games though, they are each completely different). I think there is a lot of violence but it is portrayed negatively.

By the way, have you heard of Pottermore? It's JK Rowling's new site and it will be open to the public early April! I'm a Harry Potter fan too, so I'm excited.

I just compare Harry Potter with Twilight and the Hunger Games because those are the three series that get compared the most.

Um I feel that way about Twilight...I read it before any of that whole "Team Edward" "Team Jacob" crap started, so please don't call it Twilight nonsense because it has happened to every amazing teen story line, Hunger Games is honestly the next. The original Twilight fans (such as myself) want to puke at the whole "teams" crap too.
