C'mon, Kohls! Right when we had (almost) forgotten about Rebecca Black, you bring her uber-annoying song back into existence by dedicated an entire commercial to it? That's low. Real low.

Kohls' latest commercial about their Black Friday sale has a middle-aged woman singing about the traditional day-after-Thanksgiving shopping adventure...to the tune of Rebecca Black's "Friday." Surprisingly, or perhaps not surprisingly, the commercial's updated song is actually less annoying than the original "Friday" song -- but not by much.

Here's a snippet of some of the lyrics: “Black Friday, Black Friday, gotta go to Kohl’s on Black Friday...Everybody’s going there at midnight, midnight.” Yeah, we know. Society's going down the tube. Feast your eyes on the actual commercial if you dare. And let us know: do you think the Kohl's ad is clever on some level -- or is it just plain lame?

I heard that last night on TV and was a little horrified. I don't mind Kohls at all, they have good kids clothes but this seriously turned me off. And what made it worse was how rude the shopper was in the commerical. I really hope no one does that to me; I would probably run over their heels with the tiny Kohls shopping cart.

stop giving this no talent idiot airtime. kohls must be trying to save money putting up a no-name for their commercial. that makes me not want to go shop there actually lol especially if i end up having to listen to that song blare in the store speakers.

My wife dragged me kicking and screaming to: "honey watch this stupid commercial" she also said "look that stupid bitch takes something out of someone's cart" "then she takes cuts in front of the old woman twice" "what a stupid commercial" she said... I never heard the song they used...

I'd say it was rather clever. People hate that song enough to talk about the add (just like here), so therefore the shop gets more publicity.
I have never head the song, original or otherwise, before (thank god) but I now know that Kohl's have a sale on. Not that I would ever shop there that is.

People need to stop hating on Rebecca Black! So what she doesn't have the best voice but at least she is following her dream like many people don't! So I give her props for even making a bad song but holding her head high through all the awful comments that have been said about her.
