President Obama doesn't usually slow jam the news, but when he does, boy is it good. President Barack Obama was on Tuesday night's episode of "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" and rather than doing his usual sit-down-and-talk-about-politics schtick, he tried something a little different.

A recurring segment on Fallon's late show is "slow jamming the news" -- but this time, Obama joined in on the fun. He used the segment to talk -- er, we mean "slow jam" -- about student loans. And though he may sound a bit too academic doing it, Obama was complemented by Fallon's smooth "ohhhhh yeahhhh's," making the segment both hilarious and educational. Well, at least we think so. Watch the clip below and let us know: do you think President Obama "slow jamming the news" is awesome -- or inappropriate?

Well all my white friends have jobs and don't awesome because I'm a black women that I don't have white friends. You need to expand your typical white persons thoughts. I said before it may be because I live in NY. NY really did not get hit by the rescission.

Not to mention, he's playing politics. It was the DEMOCRATS who "set" the interest rate to double on July 1, 2012 not the Republicans. Obama was too busy campaigning at the time to even vote. He didn't even vote "present" he cared so little at the time. Good grief people, WAKE UP!

In the Illinois Senate, when Obama was a mere "lawmaker" he rarely actually voted yea or nay. In Illinois voting "present" meant you are abstaining from that vote. John McCain made a big deal about the fact that Obama tended to vote "present" quite a bit when he was in the Illinois house in one of his speeches. (To the best of my recollection. I may have gotten a detail or two wrong that the hair-splitters will come and correct me on, but that is the gist of my smart-alecky comment. My point would have been made just fine without that last sentence.)

49% approval rating is not a majority. Higher than I had hoped, but still not a majority. With 46% disapproving, 5% undecided, and a 3% margin for error, it could go either way. The Republican's biggest problem is it seems Romney is going to be the nominee, and he's just Obama Lite. I'll be voting Libertarian.

Yes, I am serious. I have paid taxes for over 40 years and fought for my country. I do not want to see a foolish person elected by foolish people down grade our country any more. If the GE owned news media was not so biased, your hero Obama would look like the idiot he is. I don't want to see Obama slow jamming anything. I just want to see his FAST DEPARTURE from the White House! I lost humor a long time ago. There is nothing he can do that I want to see and those things that I do he has not interest in doing (LOWER GAS PRICES)!!!!!

Gas may have lowered when Obama took office but it got up to $4.00 bucks a gallon when good ole Bush was in office, yes it did. I doubt it was avg. $1.89 per gallon when the price dropped. I would have remembered that.

The price of gas went up to $4.25 where we live in June 2008 and didn't come down much until Bush left office, to around $250-$275 and then climbed back up to current with a spike and low in-between.

Fox News lies so much it's hard to keep up with all their lies. Yet, the sheep don't know better.

They were as high as hell when Bush was in office, about $4.00 a gallon nationally and they were high for quite a while before they came down, around the time that President Obama took office to around $2.50 per gallon national average. But if you repeat a lie long enough it becomes the truth.
