President Obama doesn't usually slow jam the news, but when he does, boy is it good. President Barack Obama was on Tuesday night's episode of "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" and rather than doing his usual sit-down-and-talk-about-politics schtick, he tried something a little different.

A recurring segment on Fallon's late show is "slow jamming the news" -- but this time, Obama joined in on the fun. He used the segment to talk -- er, we mean "slow jam" -- about student loans. And though he may sound a bit too academic doing it, Obama was complemented by Fallon's smooth "ohhhhh yeahhhh's," making the segment both hilarious and educational. Well, at least we think so. Watch the clip below and let us know: do you think President Obama "slow jamming the news" is awesome -- or inappropriate?

I'm a fan of the President's and love the fact that he seems like a pretty regular guy; but doing the Slow Jamz was beneath the office he holds.

You may well be correct. But I'd like to see his hands get untied in his second 4 years to see if his policies actually work. I don't really think you can argue against that point. Why have another guy learn Presidentin' on the job when Obama hopefully has a handle on it.

Nothing wrong with it at all. But of course, you can always count on the irrational Right-Wing morons to find a fault in anything Obama does, even if it's just participating in an innocent, enjoyable comedy sketch.

To all the ridiculous hate-filled Conservatives, please give me ONE legitimate reason why this was inappropriate, or why it's any less appropriate than this:

Sarah was not the president of the United States, while doing that show. --And I will give you one reason it was inappropriate for a man who is called the president of the United States to have done that. --If nothing else, the act had a sexual tone to it. That is not something a president should be party to, while in office.

So you consider a comedy act having a sexual tone worse than one having a violent tone? By the way, what exactly were the references that would give this sketch a "sexual" tone?

And Palin wasn't the President, but she was campaigning with her candidate who was running for President, just like Obama is doing for his 2nd term.

Campaigning and in the office are two very different things.

If you did not hear the sexual tone in that skit with Obama in it, then please go ask your mommy to explain it to you.

And where on earth was ANYTHING said about a violent tone? --Why do you liberals do stuff like that, have a fight about something that was not even mentioned?

When I asked what sexual references were in this sketch, I was asking how this sketch references to sexuality? By playing slow music? By Fallon speaking in a "sexy" voice? There's nothing inapproriate about that, it's just funny.

Because I'm proving the hypocrisy of people who are criticizing Obama over something as innocent as a comedy sketch when Palin did the same thing. Why do you conservatives do stuff like that? And obviously that Sarah Palin rap was satirical and not meant to be taken seriously, but so was Obama's sketch with Jimmy Fallon.

In case you haven't noticed, he's already brought all the troops home from Iraq. I didn't agree with his troop surge in Afghanistan, but you can't say he didn't keep his promise to bring American soldiers home, because he has. He's ended 1 war so far and I'd say that progress proves he's living up to his promise.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

The word "evil" here is the opposite of "peace." It does not mean "wickedness." The English language shares words, which is why they have to be read in the context that they were written in.

Evil, as in "wickedness," is the opposite of Godliness.

These are two different meanings to the word "evil."

The word is "believe."

And that scripture is saying "peace," not "goodness." --It is peace. And it is showing the word "evil" to be the opposite of peace. Think about it as a peaceful weather day, as opposed to a day when a hurricane struck.

Palin's appearance was not a violation of campaign law like Obama's. She did not make a campaign speech. Barack did. Sarah did not ask for a specific political response from the audience. He did.

Her appearance was, however, beneath both her office and, at least before Biden's term, the office that she sought. Palin gets a small indulgence as a newbie to national office she did not have a lot of political capital with which to fight a bad trend set long before her time.
